“Flower Therapy”

Flowers have a way of making a place feel special. Used for a variety of occasions, they have the opportunity to bring comfort, joy or a feeling of celebration to the day.

When customers come in we love to ask what is the occasion for flowers? Our favourite reply is “just because,” we smile because we understand how special those flowers are and how the impact will last so much longer than the flowers themselves. They come with the statement of “I’m thinking of you and want you to know just how special you are.”

Another favourite of ours is when a customer comes in and pick up flowers for themselves. We know they understand and appreciate flowers just as much as we do! There is research to prove that flowers are known to make us feel better. “Nature can change our mood and ease stress. Flowers can free us from anxiety, depression and the everyday worries of life,” according to Team Flower Education.

Used for sympathy, flowers will bring a sense of comfort with the message that someone is thinking of them and want to offer their condolences. The flowers always speak for themselves.

Weddings and events are always beautiful but when flowers are added to table centrepieces, bridal bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages, the day always feels so much more special.

It's the feeling flowers give you. Admiring the beauty in them, appreciating  the variety and knowing that they only last for a short time, feeling the joy & comfort flowers bring, helps to understand how flower therapy may be the best kind of therapy there is. (at least we think so!)
